Mar 9th 2010- WARGroup to get Bren Gun Carrier
Doc is taking on a "Universal Carrier", more popularly known as a Bren Gun Carrier. Ty Hako-Oja in Alberta, Canada, who has looked after this lovely vehicle for the last 41years, can be seen getting this ready for transport to WARGroup- click on the videos below to see more of WARGroup's new baby!- UPDATE: March 17th- the carrier arrives by rail in its container in the port of Montreal, ready to begin it's LONG journey nearly half way round the world by boat! click on "going to Ireland 7" to see how ye get a carrier off the ground and onto a lorry...UPDATE: March 21st- the Carrier has been loaded on board vessel, and has started its long journey across the Atlantic bound for Irish shores....

WARGroup appeared on TV this week in Paul Merton's series on Channel 5 as he travelled around Eurpoe. He interviewed Emmet and Joe, and clearly enyoyed the annual battle on the beach as much as the audience! Look out for re-runs- the battle sequences are excellent!!
