A Very Busy Year....

From training, to our main battle in Duncannon in County Wexford over the June Bank Holiday weekend, from charity events to book launches, and a new film in County Kerry, you can see we've been busy!! Current images below include our HQ tent, small field medical unit, the AA gun (Bofors), a Vickers water-cooled MG at the camp periphery, and part of the unit up for inspection!

Gorey Militaria Fair

Sat 26th June

Another great day for collectors and re-enactors alike. The WARGROUP War of Independance crown forces were there to advise the public on appropriate hands-out-of-pocket use as per the original Macroom order....Just as the WARGROUP flying column were there to advise differently... another great day and many thanks to Mark Hayden and his lovely family for all their warm hospitality

Mar 21st: WARGroup's new baby!!

After an 8 day rail journey across Canada, WARGroup's new arrival has finished the first step of it's long journey from Alberta. Our Bren Carrier has finally set sail for Ireland. Mar 13th/14th: WARGroup Battle weekend

This was a resounding success, with two ambushes by the Allies on Saturday, followed by a defeated pincer attack on the German HQ on Sunday- pics on the news page!
